American Airlines Center. Home of the Dallas Mavericks of NBA and the Dallas Stars of the NHL, American Airlines Center is the most advanced sports arena in the country. Dallas Zoo. Dallas Arboretum. The Dallas Arboretum is pure Zen on 66 acres of meandering and diverse gardens, fountains and serene knolls on the edge of White Rock Lake, minutes from downtown Dallas. Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie . Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie is an Arlington, Texas park that promises exciting racing action and entertainment. Voted Best Live Country Music Show of the Year for five years in row by Country Music Organizations of America, Johnnie High's offers family entertainment and great music from the stars of tomorrow.
